We will continue to monitor the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) for the latest information, updates, and recommendations leading up to our onsite classes at Columbia University in late October. ACPM will make informed decisions that support the health and well being of our participants, staff, faculty and their communities.
To be eligible for the CPM program you must have one (1) of the following:
- A certificate, diploma or academic degree providing evidence of a four-year undergraduate degree
- 3 years of employment in the financial services industry.
- Letter of recommendation on behalf of the applicant who is employed in the financial services industry, written by a supervisor, where the credential requirements are desired for the training and development of the applicant.
Eligibility criteria exceptions - all exceptions shall be reviewed by the secretary. The secretary shall bring exceptions of merit before the board, and a 2/3 affirmative vote of the board of directors shall be required to grant exceptions to potential CPM® Candidates. All exception requests should be submitted to ACPM at firstname.lastname@example.org.
CPM PROGRAM TERMS & CONDITIONS:
TUITION FEE: $6,750
INCLUDED: Your CPM Tuition fee includes all online coursework (via Zoologic) and the multi-day onsite academic seminars at Columbia University, complete with meals and networking events.
TRAVEL: Each participant is responsible for their own travel and hotel accommodations for New York.
ZOOLOGIC ONLINE PORTION: All candidates will have one year to complete Zoologic. You must complete ALL Zoologic courses by September 1st, to attend the onsite classes at Columbia.
REFUNDS: An accepted candidate for the CPM® program shall be able to withdraw from the program for the 14 days following the date of acceptance. Withdrawal shall be in writing to ACPM. Upon such written notice, the candidate shall be eligible for a refund minus $500 processing fee. After 14 days have passed, the candidate shall not be eligible for reimbursement for any reason. There shall be no refunds in the event of force majeure or in the event of insolvency of ACPM. All opt outs/cancellations MUST be made in writing and sent to the ACPM office at email@example.com
DEFERRAL: A candidate may request a one-time deferral due to a medical/family emergency; additional documentation may be required by ACPM for deferral approval. A deferral shall allow for a candidate to defer completion of online education and participating in residency programs for up to 12 months. ACPM reserves the right to require payment of any additional costs incurred, by ACPM, as a result of the deferral. The application hereby acknowledges the proposed timeline for completing the coursework of the CPM® program. The applicant hereby waives any rights to refunds or actions against ACPM for failure to complete the coursework for any reason. The application hereby acknowledges understanding of ACPM current policies, including policies regarding tuition refunds and program time deferrals, and also acknowledges that these policies can be changed by ACPM at any time to the detriment of the candidate.
MAINTAINING THE CPM DESIGNATION: Upon graduation from the program you will be authorized to use the CPM designation as long as you are an active ACPM member in good standing and complete the required 20 hours of CE credits per calendar year. ACPM membership dues and CE requirements are waived for 1 year for new graduates.
